People that only know governments that are evil and don't care for them can't fathom anyone supporting any government without being brain washed. They cannot fathom that there are governments our there that focus on helping their civilians and improving their lives and this being supported. The government must always be seen as the manipulator. The deceiver.

This is why Americans can so easily jump on the communist brainwashing theory. They don't trust their government therefore they are free thinking. The Chinese trust their government however. Therefore they are brainwashed.
