Ehhh, physically harmed, if I learned that my step father was doing that and then killed himself I think I would have some issues to talk about with a therapist.

My gut reaction was “good” too, until I read the rest of the article. I didn’t factor in that a traumatized family would have been inevitable, but that was the worst outcome for them. What a selfish ass, even to the end.
