In one video, the leaker uses a gun to shoot the word ‘Leek’ into a wall, indicating that they have some sort of build of the game. One song on the radio, ‘Sports Car’ by Tate McRae, was only released in 2025, indicating the build is somewhat recent.

This is the first I’ve heard it’s a build and not footage…

There’s a good chance a cracked version already exists or the same method could be used on the release.

Especially if it only works for single player, this would be a huge financial hit. Because a lot of players would just get the pirated single player, and not buy for multiplayer. Rockstar needs “normies” so the whales pay up for the power fantasy to beat up on them.

If it’s all whales on multiplayer, it’s an even playing field and they’ll move somewhere their money is a clear advantage.

I’ve been wondering why they weren’t just ignoring the footage, it’s because they have the whole game.
