A cheaper solution (usually) to that is getting a cat. They have their ways of making you get up so you can play with them, whether you like it or not.

Trust me, if I could, I would get a cat, or 10, and become a crazy cat lady.
But unfortunately I couldn’t really give it a good standard of living, n it would basically have to permanently be banned from my room because one zoomie could cause hundreds of euros of damage and it could hurt itself a little too easily.
