How am I going to restore day 8, day 9, or day 10 backups if I only keep 7 days?

How do you restore on day 11, 12 or 13 if you only keep 10 days?

      I don’t need days after 10. I need days up to 10.

look im not that committed to a different scheme. Just seems to me once you get to a week and do a weekly you are good on days. heck I would do 6 daily ones and have the weekly one just be the 7th day of the week. free up yet another deep backup.
