I’ve had my steam machine apart a few times to add ram and a larger nvme drive. I found that the sd card piece was a little crooked (though mine worked fine). Perhaps yours is similar but doesn’t work?
Yes it is actually 1TB. The thing is that it doesn’t even show up in parition manager.

Does it show up when you run lsblk? You might have to mount it manually/add it to fstab.
