If you encounter a lot of stutter while streaming, putting

into ~/.local/share/Steam/config/steamvr.vrsettings worked wonders for me. The allowMultipleLinks might make things worse, depending on your setup (it forces only the dongle), but the VideoFEC stuff worked wonders for me and the streaming stability.

I also read somewhere that limiting the bandwith to 100 MBit works wonders, as dynamic bitrate seems a bit flakey on Linux hosts, but I did not try that yet, might be interesting for games with fast movement.
