Why do so many people use “all”? it doesn’t seem logical.
Just subscribe to the communities your interested in like you did on reddit.

I was never on reddit ;)
But if I always sort by subscribed, how am I supposed to find new communities and grow niche communities?

I usually just go to lemmyverse.net and either search for a specific topic, or sort communities by new.

Well everyone has their way, I guess. I like my all feed sorted by new, because then I can see a lot of diverse content, so I have a reason to want to prevent it from getting spammed by bots.
