  Noah ran the show for 7 years and decided to go out while he was still very much loved, way back in Fall '22. The show’s been using guest hosts for the past year.

      I don’t have any unique insight that would add anything to what’s already been said about this. Trevor Noah said he wanted to go back to his hobbies and I don’t really think he was let go given how the show fell of the cliff after his departure.
