Comment on Commercials Are Streaming’s New Norm, and Creators Aren’t Happy: “It’s Almost Worse Than Broadcast”
ZeroCool@slrpnk.net 9 months agoI never did in the first place.
Yes, you did. YOU brought up the cost of the SAG-AFTRA and WGA deals in an attempt to justify the need for commercial plans. There’s literally no other reason for you to have mentioned it at all. So stop this poor attempt at gaslighting. Nobody here is as stupid as you seem to think we are.

At this point I'm starting to think you just don't understand revenue streams and business models so discussing this with you further doesn't sound like something that will be productive, unfortunately.

This from the guy who can’t remember what he wrote, nor can he scroll up.
You fell off the high horse a ways back. Pay attention.

This isn’t my first run in with that person, they never argue in good-faith. And when they’re not doing that they’re pushing far right, racist and misogynistic, culture war nonsense in this community. Frankly, they should’ve been shown the door ages ago.

Wait, you're this guy??
Kinda rich to be talking about not arguing in good faith when this was the last exchange that we had.

Not really but okay
It's still funny that y'all can't grasp that for people to be paid fairly for the movies and shows they make, they need to be paid with a revenue stream that lines up with how much people actually consume their art 🤦🏾♂️😂
