As someone who used to play mostly on consoles with framerates locked at 60 or even 30 FPS I never really understood framerate snobs, the only real time I see it making sense is for VR since you need high frame-rate for that, but for normal games (no I will not call them ‘flat games’) it’s overkill, at least in my opinion.
