I’ve tried. LLMs suck at originality almost by design; they’re (oversimplification) essentially predicting the most likely context-specific next word.

The one good thing I’ve done with an LLM is feed it my own ideas, and ask it to compare and contrast it to existing fiction. Easy way to check that my own ideas aren’t accidentally too close to books I haven’t read yet.
