Are there any good shows on Netflix right now?
I’m not asking to insult Netflix, I just have a spare 5 Tb burning a hole in my NAS that I’d like to fill

3 Body Problem and Star Trek: Prodigy are pretty good. Not very much else though.

♥️ I wasn’t sure if I should spend time on Prodigy, on a scale of Discovery to Strange New Worlds, where would you rank it? I thoroughly enjoyed Lower Decks, if that helps
3 Body Problem was on my list but the list was in my head and I forgot
Again, I thank you

I’d rate it above Discovery, maybe about the same level as Lower Decks but, certainly above the EMH’s holo-novel, Picard.
It is geared more for younger consumers, with the crew being a bit younger themselves in experience and/or age along with more kid-friendly humor and sub-plots, but it still is very watchable. Sort of like the same deal with some video games and anime/Manga, which I would say both writing and art styles seemed like they could have had some influence on the story and art.
If it helps… It has continuity with the Voyager universe, about a decade or two after it returns to the alpha quadrant, and it does have some cameos.

Okay, good to know about Voyager. This winter I’m doing a complete 90’s kid Star Trek rewatch, S3 of TNG through the end of VOY. I’ll stick Prodigy on at the end.
(Starting with S3 because Riker beard. Plus, aside from The Naked Now and Conspiracy is there even a reason to watch the first two seasons? Maybe Skin of Evil for continuity to Yesterday’s Enterprise I guess)
