  If you use an adapter at each end, each one with additional power requirements, how much extra power are we using for the sake of convenience?

  I’ve used these and was pretty happy with them, but I’ve always wondered about this.

    I don’t remember the exact specs but I don’t remember the power ever being something worth noting.

    You could also split one off into multiple devices I guess if you get lucky with placement

    They are usually about 5W, so not much.
