I just brought a new Steam Deck and I’m playing Control on my nice 27" pc monitor with a cheap dock and my old controller. If you want a big visual this is the best way. People didn’t realize that 800p in a monito so small is already pretty close to the definition of a retina display. The Deck monitor is quite good, especially if you install decky and the Vibrant plugin to increase the saturation of the colors. I use the deck monitor to play on the 99% of the case. If you want a bigger, better monitor just buy a dock.
