Presumably you could Huffman encode ascii or UTF8 and represent it as a compatible Morse extension.

Doesn’t Morse lack a number of characters that are useful nowadays?
But I suppose it could be kind of useful for quick in-game chat in uppercase English. :)

Honestly I just have learned the basics. So I am not sure what all it is missing. But for my use it works perfectly. Check out this site though. If you use it for a week you will probably be as comfortable as me.

Seems like a lot of extra work but for games that have a lot of hot keys I could see it being helpful. Also for just doing short chats it isn’t too crazy.
Honestly I use a keyboard every day for work I wouldn’t mind varying how I input data into a system. Voice chat still isn’t there and this is a tried and true communication protocol.
