I don't know a lot about tor, but I believe it would only federate with other instances that have tor access set up

Let's say I don't wanna put my IP out there for everyone to look at - could I host one of these on something like Tor? And would it federate properly?
No need for a technical answer, just interested if in theory that could be possible
