If anyone can afford it, I recommend the Neva + Gris bundle. Neva is even better, IMO.

mirrors edge is a gem, and i played the whole thing on deck years ago, it ran flawlessly!

Were there any physx settings turned on when running Mirror’s Edge? It can bring a 5090 to it’s knees due to removal of 32bit physx support. Great recent gamer’s nexus video on it. Anyway, physx running on the CPU with Mirror’s Edge kills fps

Basically only option right now is to turn off anything physx in older games like mirrors edge. Should solve the fps issue

In the future try checking ProtonDB before refunding. For Mirror’s Edge in particular, it seems all you have to do is disable
PhysX.ProtonDB is an amazing tool, everyone should check it out!

Nice. Well I happened to see it on sale on GoG and I prefer to buy from there anyway so I’ll give it another try.
