BrikoX@lemmy.zip 3 weeks agoIt’s good for small to medium communities. Where it fails is at scale. It has no built-in moderation and even 1st party mod bot is useless and the performance is just bad.

I disagree with this. The feature disparity is massive.
Matrix CAN be good for small communities, but as it stands, it doesn’t come anywhere close to Discord for small medium or large communities.
