Is it worth uploading video memes or is it better to convert them to gif format?

Avelon shows me videos better than all the other apps I’ve tried on iOS, but the vids still often take forever to load while gifs load much faster.
So yeah, I think gifs would allow for more people across the many apps to see whatever you’re posting.
