Damn, 20 seasons just since Aug 2023.

Honestly, I had forgotten Overwatch 2 was a game that existed. Whole thing was a shitshow on launch and have yet to feel the desire to play it.

You’re off by about a year, Season 1 came out October 2022. Seasons are also relatively short, around 8 weeks each.

I was like you, the launch (and end of OW1) was garbage, so I had no interest in the game at all. After the new Stadium Mode launched this year, I’ve heard some chatter, that things apparently have been slowly getting better. I gave it a shot myself and have been enjoying the game a lot.

Stadium is pretty fun. Once it came out, I played it exclusively from then on. I eventually uninstalled OW a few seasons ago, I just don’t have the self control needed to play that game as a Mercy main, lol. I’m a sucker for cosmetics, especially now that I could actually see the skins in 3rd person thanks to stadium.

I played a lot of OW1, moved on a little before the launch of 2, and just watched it crash and burn from afar… Maybe one day I’ll give Blizzard another chance, but I doubt Activision will let that happen.
