I’m not disputing any of your counter-points, but personally, I can imagine a handful of scenarios where the added feature of being physically seperable would’ve been handy or more convenient than requiring two things to be strapped to a centered ~3m-away power station.
it could certainly be those situations could’ve been avoided by improving skill, and i’m not saying it would’ve been vital in those situations or anything… but I can see a use for it and if it’s just a particular flavor of modularity that this product offers without too much (or any) cost-hike or down side, I think it’s neat!
Advertorials… Years ago, following the massification of private ownership of the media, this was the canary for the incoming wave of fascism driven by disinformation. Don’t support this type of content, please, I beg of you.
It’s theverge’s bread and butter. What are you, a communist trying to take food out of this poor advertorial company’s mouth?
Guilty as charged!
We can be friends till the révolution, after that, it’s complicated!
Awesome, after they attacked charging cables so I can’t lose them anymore, they make a powerbank I can lose half of.
Would be cool to have 2 that can bundle together for getting them on an airplane. So carrying 1 each. But I don’t like cumbersome on airplanes.

I assume it costs enough to buy a bunch of similar power banks, a charger dock for all of them, plus maybe one bonus power bank better than the others
