This is the first time I’ve seen a game recommend 32GB of RAM needed to play, and considering it’s twice as much as Lego Horizon’s I’m guessing they just passed the threshold and decided to double it as opposed to optimizing or specify a non power of 2 quantity of RAM. These requirements still seem unreasonably high for a Lego game, is there really that much more packed in here than Lego Star Wars on the Wii?

This is usually the case, since no one has RAM that lies between 16 and 32 GB, they just go up to the next notch if their games uses more. They probably reduced the memory usage by a lot less than the hardware specs imply.
