Has anyone managed to get Playstation Plus streaming working on the deck recently? I’ve seen posts/articles saying it’s possible, but I’ve not been able to get it to actually work.
After installing the ps plus app, downloading the missing dll, and launching via proton experimental, I just get an error when I reach the sign in page.
Has anyone else encountered this, and managed to get passed it?
I have it working through a program called Chiaki which is much easier to set up than what you described. Please give it a try! You should be able to install it via desktop mode, using the Deck’s built-in package manager.
Ah, that’s for remote play. I meant cloud streaming. Should have made that clearer! I do use Chiaki though, it’s great!
whats the error youre getting at sign in?
It was “The connection to the server timed out”. But I just tried it again now, and it worked no problem 😅
as a software engineer … yeah. Stuff is always broken until you show someone else. and then it works!

I never used the PlayStation app, but the app ‘Chiaki’ worked well enough for me with my ps4 and 5.

That’s just for remote play. I was talking about cloud streaming, but I didn’t make that very clear 😅
