    There is a strange implication from the article that being in the showcase is going to guarantee wishlists and purchases. People might have simply not liked what they saw. It sounds like the dev that spoke out had a head on their shoulders and didn’t throw blame around. I respect that a lot and hope their game gets some good sales.

      Problem is more that nobody saw it in the first place. Despite being a YouTube channel with 1.25 million subs, the 2 hour long stream got a grand total of 1,600 views. For $600, that’s less than 3 views per dollar. And that’s assuming these people got far enough into the stream to see this particular trailer. Honestly I’m impressed they even got 65 new wishlists with numbers like that.

    Oof $600 to be included, and the stream only got 1600 views? Even if you assume the trailer views (2700) are all unique and caused by l the stream, that’s still 600 like $150 per 1000 views. I think just basic youtube advertising has better returns than that
