Improvements over the original PineTime:
- AMOLED display;
- GPS;
- A custom chip;
- A digital crown which also features an extra button;
- New sensors including a blood oxygen sensor; and
- Power to individual components can be cut unlike the non pro watch which will improve battery life.
Funding

As long as it’s open source, it doesn’t matter if it has an operating system. A watch needs to be as lightweight (software wise) as possible.

yeah but pine’s thing is to release hardware without any software at all and let the community sort it out. i think there’s still no end-user os for their e-reader.
