Microsoft is rolling out Windows Update improvements that give users more control over how updates are installed while reducing disruption from frequent or poorly timed restarts.
Hopefully that works for my office computer. My home computer has never done that, mostly because I chucked windows in the garbage 2 years ago and installed Linux.

Can you imagine having a mission-critical computer taken down by a broken MS update that you’re not allowed to say no to?
Some Linux distros may occasionally break things with an update, but at least they won’t make that update mandatory – you update when and if you want to.
