    And Discord’s is particularly bad. Even Windows takes its time between update checks. It’s the first thing Discord does every time you launch it.

  I just installed Linux on my gaming PC a few days back. Yesterday I had to update discord manually and was a bit annoyed by the process.
  This comes at the exactly right time

    Fedora user here: What tf is an apt repository? Is this something like copr? Or openSUSEs OBS? Or arch AUR? /s
