The past is coming back to haunt a hot-shot lawyer – quite literally – in Possession, a brand new Sky Original thriller series.
Gugu Mbatha-Raw leads as Claudia, an ambitious young bi-racial lawyer who finds herself on a trip to Jamaica in a bid to challenge an inheritance claim filed by local resident Cudjoe East against wealthy white aristocrat Oliver Connaught.
However, her mission takes an unexpected turn when she discovers the contested estate is the Connaught family’s Jamaican former plantation, Hope Hill – the same ominous house that has been haunting her nightmares.
