You must be relatively young. This bullshit has been spouted for decades.
I am! Especially in terms of the Fediverse. At 26, it’s hard to find people around these parts who are younger than me.
It doesn’t shock me that this narrative has been around for a while. It makes sense if you just put the pieces together.
