    I wasn’t familiar with the term immersive Sim, but yeah, they’re a beloved genre and the only thing other than RPGs that I actually want out of AAA companies

    Given how the oblivion remake sold gangbusters: no.

    Given the popularity of “[insert neat thing] simulator” games, also no.

    Sim games just don’t typically get enough funding to have deep-level narrative as much as they used to but there is a glaring thirst in the market for it.
