Based on the trailer, it looks like it might have local co-op. Would love to play this on the Steam Deck with my wife.

Ermagerd! I love Amanita Design, and Machinarium was the first game of theirs I played, and has been my favourite ever since. Besides, when these guys do sequels, they tend to surpass the original/the previous entry. I am excited, to say the least!
