The DesktopEditors github repo appears to have actual releases now, with multiple download options for various Linux distros, plus Windows and MacOS. While some refinement may still be needed, this represents a usable release without requiring manual building.

I do not understand why they used OnlyOffice as a starting point rather than LibreOffice. I’m guessing because it can be embedded in web shit? I can see why NextCloud pushed for it.
