  There was also a large Vanadium battery put into industrial use some years back. WA state somewhere if I recall, don’t remember the use for it.

  There are hundreds of known chemical combinations that produce electricity, and only a handful have received in depth research as to commercial usage I once read in Harper’s Magazine.
