@sj_zero @realcaseyrollins Fediverse in terms of media content is pretty far behind, giants like Youtube, Spotify, Twitch, Instagram, etc needs to be replaced for giving people a freedom and privacy respecting alternative.

Yes there are options in fediverse for their replacement but in comparison to the text side of fediverse, it's not great which has multiple completing implementations and help every software grow in their own unique image.
