- Comment on Hori’s officially licensed Steam controller is coming to the US 1 week ago:
12x more than I paid for the real Steam Controller and only a fraction of the features. Was hoping it would be priced more affordably
- Comment on Valve is working on a version of proton for ARM devices 1 month ago:
Exciting! I remember commenting about the next Steam Deck being ARM a couple months ago and a few people replied that it was unlikely haha
Hope this can work in Asahi Linux at some point too 👀

Are you going to use a dock? You should consider that, too. The case I found did not fit in the official dock.
- Comment on A guide on streaming games from Linux Desktop to deck without being logged in 2 months ago:
I was thinking of having the next PC I build be used as a headless game streaming server. That way I could just stream to my Deck or MacBook, I wouldn’t have to setup web browser, download apps, sign into any accounts, etc since it would only be used to stream games.
I’ve never got great performance from any game streaming though

Would WayDroid qualify as what you’re looking for?

This is like crowdstrike all over again
- Comment on RetroDECK 0.8.2b - Released! 4 months ago:
I haven’t used EmuDeck since they’ve apparently revamped the installation process, but I think RetroDeck is (or at least was) a much cleaner installation since it’s just a flatpak. I’ve got it installed on my deck and it works fine. Not really using it atm
- Comment on What remote do you use? 4 months ago:
You could consider using a USB C extension cable. That way you can use the Deck’s built-in controls. I either do that or use my Steam Controller.
I don’t think most controllers are worth their price. I got a Bluetooth Xbox controller once and it was expensive, lacked features, and broke way sooner than it should have.
If you don’t need a wireless controller you can get a Logitech F310 for pretty cheap and I find those nice to use, but they don’t have trackpads.
- Comment on dBrand Releases New Steam Deck Skin Based Off of $1 Million Counter-Strike Skin 4 months ago:
Annoying marketing, harassing customers on Twitter (I know they at least made it up but it shouldn’t have happened in the first place), now selling hardware skins as loot boxes
- Comment on dBrand Releases New Steam Deck Skin Based Off of $1 Million Counter-Strike Skin 4 months ago:
I hate this company more every time I read something about them.
The skins look nice though, are there other brands making similar ones?
- Comment on Game Recording Beta - Now available for Steam Deck and desktop 4 months ago:
It looks like they’re really going above and beyond with this feature, cool stuff
- Comment on New AMD CPU leak looks like a perfect fit for Steam Deck 2 7 months ago:
I kind of wonder if they would switch to ARM for the next one
- Comment on What games do you use the pads with? 9 months ago:
I use the right pad instead of the right stick for any game that could use it for pointing/aiming. Really, the only ones I wouldn’t use it for are games that use the right stick for other stuff, like Skater XL or Session maybe
- Comment on Modding in games 1 year ago:
I haven’t tried it on Linux, but I wouldn’t want to mod Skyrim without using Mod Organizer
