There you go. No need to click
- Comment on Discord is nuking Nintendo Switch emulator devs and their entire servers 7 months ago:
The whole issue is that no Discord terms of service were violated here.
Really? I’m not a lawyer, but…

Given that there’s a court order stating these tools violated Nintendo’s intellectual property rights, not sure how you can draw the conclusion that this is somehow not a violation of the TOS
- Comment on I used to be a frame rate snob but owning a Steam Deck has made me realise the error of my ways 7 months ago:
I’ve been playing some PS1 classics on my PC, and I can safely say, playing FF7 at 240 fps does not meaningfully improve the experience over what it was back in nineteen ninety eight.

Can you side load IOS apps? (Genuinely curious)
If no, then that’s a big nail in the coffin. They could try and make it a web app, but that’s not gonna be a smooth transition.

- Comment on Microsoft spending $1B annually on third-party Xbox Game Pass titles 11 months ago:
I get what you’re saying and I’m sure all the MBAs at Microsoft are shitting bricks, but I never fully understand why a company would be disappointed with a service like this one even doing only slightly better than breaking even.
Not everything needs to have infinite growth and gigantic margins as long as $-in > $-out.
- Comment on Why is it apparently cool and fine for insurance companies to spend countless billions, trillions of our money constantly buying ad time? 11 months ago:
Yeah, the “insurance is a scam, just pocket the money, bro” folks really don’t understand just how royally fucked someone would be if their house burned down. Sure it’s a long shot, but me saving the $1k or so I spend each year on homeowners insurance is not going to cover me when there’s $300k in structural damage I have to deal with.
