The 13 inch Intel ones aren’t a pre-order - you can just order them.

The AMD 13 inch and the 16 inch laptop are both releasing soon and are on pre-order.

If you tried a bunch of other proton versions, you may need to clear the compatdata dir and then run again with experimental. The directory can get in a weird state with some games if you try to run multiple proton versions - i.e. one applies a fix on startup that breaks it in another version.
