Maybe it’s time to consider that kernel level software is generally a bad idea.
- Comment on Midjourney will soon let users upload and edit images with AI on the web 4 weeks ago:
I’m sure this will go exactly as they intend and won’t be taken down within 2 hours.

I assume that they mean in addition to QA. I worked on COD, those QA testers were some of the best FPS players I’ve ever seen. I can’t explain when or how due to my NDA, but I’ve seen professional players/streamers get stomped by QA. You could even tell which ones have spent the most time working on live multiplayer by how well they play.
- Comment on Don’t expect Fallout 1 and 2 remakes from Bethesda any time soon - Todd wouldn’t want to “paste over” their charm 5 months ago:

Well that’s anticlimactic. Here I thought grep would continuously ping ps aux and softlock the terminal or something
- Comment on new rule 11 months ago:
I don’t know what exactly this will do, but I know enough about the terminal to get the feeling this is a bad idea
- Comment on Why are there circles of melted snow on this icy pond? 11 months ago:
Yep, this is it. The ice is thinner in those areas, allowing more heat to reach the surface

Good news, it’s a suppository

Harsh but fair. It ensures that everyone that can work their schedule out in advance, while also presenting clear expectations for participating in a voluntary hobby. Is there a consecutive number of missing sessions before being replaced, and if not how does the DM work it out in the campaign?
