- Comment on Factorio 2.0 and Factorio: Space Age DLC are out now 1 month ago:
And the DLC costs the same as the base game lol. Fuck that.
Not to mention that in my currency it costs almost as much as some AAA games, which is ridiculous, it’s one of the most expensive DLCs on the store also and the game never goes on sale. I don’t care how good of a game Factorio is, this pricing is absurd and massively out of touch. 🤡
- Comment on This modder-turned-developer shows how you can triple FPS when properly porting a PC game from consoles 2 months ago:
I wish Durante would be in charge of every PC port ever, guy is a genius, dedicated and everything he touches turns gold. We should clone the guy and have one clone for each game studio.

- Comment on Junxions is a traffic engineering sim where you can finally fix that junction near your house 2 months ago:
There’s also a sandbox mode, for freeform experimentation, and perhaps most interestingly the ability to enter real world coordinates and generate a map based on a real world location. If you want to generate a map based on your hometown, and fix that forever-clogged junction on your commute to work, you can do so.
Okay, now you caught my attention.
- Comment on The Steam Families logo is clearly a Rorschach test, so what do you see? 3 months ago:
Two bears high-fiving.
- Comment on The Dead Rising remaster no longer gives you points for "Erotica" creepshots because it's not "required" or "appropriate" 4 months ago:
I don’t. I just think this kind of puritanism is stupid and helps no one.
- Comment on The Dead Rising remaster no longer gives you points for "Erotica" creepshots because it's not "required" or "appropriate" 4 months ago:
Meh.
Not a hill I’ll die on, especially because I don’t even like the game, but I think it’s kind of lame to remove this stuff just because of “modern sensibilities” when the rest of the game is a gorefest anyways.
- Comment on Paradox CEO admits company made "wrong calls in several projects" in wake of Life By You's cancellation 4 months ago:
The game’s youtube channel has a lot of gameplay videos. If you want my opinion it looked like an uglier, jankier, poor man’s Sims 3 with none of the charm or humor from that series and I don’t think it would ever had much of a real chance against Sims, not without a few more years in development at the very least because even the gameplay videos from a couple months ago still have that “alpha” look to it.
- Comment on Paradox CEO admits company made "wrong calls in several projects" in wake of Life By You's cancellation 4 months ago:
I think they made the right choice with that one, it looked horrible. Lifeless, no personality whatsoever… It was for the best.
- Comment on BioWare's Mark Darrah thinks Veilguard is the first Dragon Age where "the combat's actually fun" 5 months ago:
If that’s not a colossally big red flag I don’t know what is, especially considering Origins had pretty good combat and everything else since has been “meh” at best.
- Comment on Steam Next Fext 2024's most popular demos include goblin maid sims, horror shooters and a Chinese game about an unmarried no-lifer 5 months ago:
What a shit article, it goes all the way until the end to just briefly mention the goblin game in the title. Fuck RPS.
On that note, the goblin maid game looks fun and cute. Seems like a more polished version of Viscera Cleanup.
- Comment on Sun Haven is for Stardew Valley fans that want more and it now has controller support 6 months ago:
Eh, I dunno man, it kind of leaves a bad taste in my mouth to support games with tons of DLC even if just cosmetic, the game has to be really good to compensate and even then I’m not a fan of it. I miss the times when cosmetics like this would be locked behind an in-game challenge or achievement.

Holy shit, I was thinking about getting this game. Guess I’m taking it off my wishlist.

- Comment on Prison Architect 2 developers part ways with Paradox months before it's due for release 7 months ago:
Paradox is becoming the new EA, they weren’t great before but they’re becoming absolutely awful now. Whenever I see “Paradox Interactive” associated with a game I get second thoughts about it.
- Comment on The Long Dark is getting a Cheat Death system, but don't worry, it's also getting a Misery Mode and cougars 7 months ago:
Because the game wasn’t already miserable enough as it is.
- Comment on I’m fascinated by this open-world delivery game that sounds like Death Stranding on a horse in 13th-century Mongolia, with “unparalleled equine realism” 7 months ago:
I know the feeling, at the end of the game
spoiler
in the shootout between Arthur, the rest of the gang and the pinkertons when your horse dies during the cutscene…
That hit me hard as well, fuck me I had invested so much time and effort into that horse and those bastards killed my girl.
- Comment on I’m fascinated by this open-world delivery game that sounds like Death Stranding on a horse in 13th-century Mongolia, with “unparalleled equine realism” 7 months ago:
To be honest the horse mechanics in RDR2 are very in-depth, you have to manage their fear, stamina, weight, cleanliness and so forth… I never understood why some people cared about the realistic aspects of horses in games until I played it, it really adds to the immersion compared to something like Skyrim’s horses that are just bikes on legs.

Dwarf Fortress lite? I’m in.
- Comment on Lego Fortnite gets driveable, customisable vehicles in Mechanical Mayhem update 8 months ago:
I legitimately don’t understand both the appeal or need for a Lego Fortnite game to exist. For starters, isn’t the point of the game that it’s basically trying to be a sandbox already? And then if the idea is to have Lego characters… Why not add them to the original game? It already has a shit ton of characters from everywhere else.
Obviously the answer is “money” but this seems so stupid and needless, very on brand for Epic.
- Comment on Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake announced 1 year ago:
We truly live the era of remakes. I’d rather devs made new games instead.

- Comment on Winter 2023 Development Update 1 year ago:
You’re not alone, I think most people already forgot about it. In a way it’s a good thing, because with low expectations it’s much harder to end up in a situation like No Man’s Sky or Cyberpunk 2077 where the expectations were unachievably high.

Eh, more like Epic approached them with a suitcase full of money, that’s very different.
