Great idea. Someone tell Elon

Works for me, but I work in software where those terms are everyday and well understood.

We really need to come up with better technology here. I understand a “recall” is a mandated process, but it has also always meant scheduling an appointment at your dealer for the work. We could really use a different term for “there’s a mandated process but it’s an over the air software update so you won’t be inconvenienced”, and ye, Tesla deserves credit for this being a possibility so much of the time

a rule the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) passed in 2011. It’s known as Ejection Mitigation, and it requires a combination of side airbag curtains and stronger windows to keep occupants inside the car during a rollover.

Or they could try a front door, which is much more straightforward

Definitely both, and they need to be coordinated. For all the places high speed rail doesn’t visit, there should be cheap and frequent greyhound service (especially connecting to the nearest train)

Not just prices, but also convenience, adding up to a good value. I could subscribe to Netflix for a reasonable price and get most movies and shows without ads. That’s a good value
I’m not going to subscribe to many, nor am I going back to ads. If you don’t want my money, you won’t get it.
Of course the loophole is no contracts: this is how you get me to subscribe short term, then move on

Not if you have an anthropomorphic lizard telling you to buy theirs

One of the unethical behaviors that is becoming all too common, is for an insurer to deny by default. Then if you want the reimbursement you’re owed, you have to fight for it, and not ebpveryone knows how or is willing to.
- Comment on I feel like I need a separate body towel (big towel), and 3 other small towels for hair, face, and hands. 4 towels in total. Is that normal? 1 year ago:
I’ve heard the separate towels for hands and face, but only in a shared situation. Some people may use a hand towel to wipe messy hands or sloppily rinse their hands instead of wash. You don’t want their germs and mess getting in your eye
