  Basically the Mantella mod for Skyrim then? Which, if I’m being honest with myself, is a massive leap forward for procedural games in the future.

  I mean just imagine walking around town and literally having a real conversation about current goings-on in the game world with an NPC, like they’re a fully realized person within that world.

  Alien Swarm is an official Valve game that also started as a mod. I just listed the most popular ones imo.

  I replayed the two games last year, and they’re both still pretty fun, but the second one’s story is kinda all over the place.

  There are some pretty powerful moments in those audio recordings though. I remember when I was playing and I found one of a mom begging a soldier not to kill her autistic non-vernal son, and the soldier just fuckin kills the kid; the mom’s screams sounded so real I honestly had to stop playing for a bit.

  I bought it on Xbox One right after they came out with bedrock or whatever it’s called, however I still can’t play it on my PC through the Xbox app, because reasons. I’d need to pay for it again on the Xbox PC app in order to play a game that should imo be entirely cross-platform at this point.

  I mean, I can play almost all the other games from my Xbox library on PC (that have a PC port), so why not Minecraft as well?

  I had a fun time with the first game. Not enough to go through a second time, but I liked it well enough for the novelty. It was just “Rick & Morty Humor: The Game” but it was fun for me.

  Sticking in multiple full-length movies to help break up the bullshit was nice. Especially having one be commentaried by the RLM guys.
