Geez, what the hell is going on with this game?
- Comment on Minecraft (Java) is going through quite an overhaul for the upcoming Vibrant Visuals update 1 day ago:
I think it’s bullshit that there are so many different versions of this same goddamn game.
I bought it on Xbox One right after they came out with bedrock or whatever it’s called, however I still can’t play it on my PC through the Xbox app, because reasons. I’d need to pay for it again on the Xbox PC app in order to play a game that should imo be entirely cross-platform at this point.
I mean, I can play almost all the other games from my Xbox library on PC (that have a PC port), so why not Minecraft as well?

What is a “bidet game”?

I’m fine with not being able to see every single pore on a character’s face.
- Comment on High On Life 2 comes to run the joke further into the ground this Winter 1 week ago:
I had a fun time with the first game. Not enough to go through a second time, but I liked it well enough for the novelty. It was just “Rick & Morty Humor: The Game” but it was fun for me.
Sticking in multiple full-length movies to help break up the bullshit was nice. Especially having one be commentaried by the RLM guys.
- Comment on Grounded 2 brings big bug survival to Game Preview this July 1 week ago:
I remember seeing stuff about if they added much more, they’d just have to make a new game.
Damn I’m excited.

Is almost everything else still the same?
- Comment on Borderlands 2 is free to claim and keep on Steam 1 week ago:
I mean tbh I don’t really care if they ban me from their servers if I ever hop back on my modded BL3 with cheat engine. I never really play those games in co-op anyway.
But I also own the whole series, but it hasn’t been installed since like December, and I haven’t played any of them since then. I’m not sure I will anytime soon.
- Comment on Dandelion Void from Project Zomboid modders will offer up plant-based horrors 1 week ago:
That seems cool. I’m always a fan of mods that add variety to the zombies in Zomboid, although I mainly stick with “realistic” ones (i.e not ones based on Resident Evil or something, though those mods have their place) such as sprinkling in random sprinters or giving different speeds and stats to all the zombies.
I also stick with the “Black Mesa” mods pretty hard. Like the one that adds headcrabs to all the undead. That one has been a staple in my mod list ever since I first downloaded it.

I mean we could also refuse to play that game due to the absolute shitty monetization they tried to force onto people.
A lot of YouTubers straight up stopped playing because of it.

- Comment on If you fancy an Elder Scroll, open world RPG Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon hits 1.0 release today 3 weeks ago:
FUCK I’m so ready to dive head-first into this game. I played the early access builds a couple times before learning about the actual release date and I’m PUMPED.
This game just feels good to play. The magic feels impactful and powerful, the melee combat is fluid and quick (two-handing in this game is super satisfying imo), there were already tons of customization and playstyles around even before 1.0, so I’m excited to see what the full game will have.
Too bad I’m going out of town for work over the weekend.
- Comment on Hey Randy, I'm not sure if saying that a "real fan" will figure out how to pay $80 for Borderlands 4 is a good look 4 weeks ago:
This is the guy who wears Nicolas Cage outfits for PR and announcement videos.
I’m not surprised he’s out of touch. He probably still thinks the Borderlands movie was a great time and effort.
- Comment on Marvel's Spider-Man 2 now Steam Deck Verified with a fresh update out to improve performance 5 weeks ago:
Is it finally stable on PC? I bought it when it first came out earlier this year but refunded it immediately because the performance was so bad.

For some reason my keyboard has been on the default color rotation for about a year. I gave up trying to fix it a while ago because nothing would happen.

So you gave a negative review to a game that’s more or less forced to make changes because of a different shitty company?
- Comment on Don't sleep on Cataclismo, building up fortresses like LEGO to defend against hordes is great 5 weeks ago:
Man, I wanna give this a shot but the developer got rid of the demo once the game actually released.
I will never understand why people do that shit. It annoys and pisses me off. Just leave the demo up, it’s not hurting anything? I don’t care if you think it’s hurting your sales, I highly doubt demos actually hurt sales rather than help them.

I went to add it to my wishlist and also check out the screenshots and all and was also greeted with being able to buy it right now.
I think I’ll wait til I know a bit more about it. I do like the art style though.

My last playthrough I made it a point to close any gate I came across, as I also imposed a no fast-travel rule on myself.
After you close like ten of them they just start reopening. I literally watched one reopen as I walked up to it once. The sigil stones are kinda nice to have though.
- Comment on In Blight: Survival you roam a decaying medieval world putting the sword to fungal zombies 2 months ago:
I’d love more thematic zombie games tbh. Red Dead’s Undead Nightmare kicked something off in me years ago that I didn’t know I needed. Years later there’s Black Masses on steam, but the devs abandoned that one to start working on UEBS2. I hope this will be cool.
- Comment on The Darkest Files - prosecute real Nazi crimes 2 months ago:
Damn this does sound pretty interesting. It sounds to me like kind of a mix of Phoenix Wright and Shadows of Doubt, but I’m sure it plays a bit differently.
- Comment on Please let Pillars Of Eternity's surprise turn-based mode spark a wave of turn-based updates for all other games 2 months ago:
Why is turn-based so popular? I understand everyone has different preferences, but the headline makes it sound like the author wants all games to be turn-based.
It’s one reason why I don’t like 4x games, tactical RPGs, and even Pokemon. I’d much rather have real-time combat and all the difficulties that presents.
