  They mostly have the look down. The only one that looks out of place is King Bumi, as he definitely just looks like a young guy in old man makeup. But we didn’t get to see much.

  The other worry is the acting and storytelling. Some of the line delivery seems a bit wooden, and it’s tough to see if it will come close to the humor and heart of the original.

  Pretty clear they are killing The Great Divide, Bato of the Water Tribe (except for June), and combining The Northern Air Temple somehow into Omashu. They also seem to be adding the air nomad genocide and moving The Cave of Two Lovers to season 1. It also looks like they are going to try and flesh out Zuko’s relationship with Azula and Ozai more

  At least they know how to say Aang and the bending doesn’t look stupid.

  I’m sure the long writers strike and actors strike was no help. Without those, late 2024 may have been possible. We’re only getting House of the Dragon on schedule because it’s produced in Europe where actors were not on strike.

  But there is a 4 year gap in the game, so some aging of the characters should fit right in.

  I rather like the bright blues are greens.

  I’m any case, wouldn’t the better solution be to reduce the amount of light the blue and green LEDs produce than have them make white light and then filter out other wavelengths?

  Oh well, lighting is one of those things I just don’t always agree with Alec on. He is a big proponent of warm colors, whereas one of the things I love about LEDs is getting whiter light.

  Hey, Chopped is fairly good, and an interesting twist on the formula as they have 4 disparate ingredients to incorporate times 3 plates.

  But they are right thee is too much competition and not enough cooking.
