Damn, that sucks. I watched this game, he left the court for a bit. I thought he came back and gave it another go but only for a couple of minutes. Then, in the 4th, they announced that he’d been ruled out for the rest of the game. They didn’t even show us a replay of what happened.

Other than for health concerns, I think you’re right about Wemby. I’m obviously biased, but I think Edwards finishes top 3 in MVP voting.
I will be surprised if Giannis is a real MVP candidate this year. Nobody votes for players from teams that aren’t at least top 4 and that team does not appear to be well constructed.

Poor shooting night for the Timberwolves backcourt and they still get the blowout. 2-0.

Agreed, definitely seems like the right call here and it’s refreshing.
- Comment on Jonathan Kuminga has agreed to a two-year with the Minnesota Timberwolves 1 month ago:
Timberwolves had a huge gap in their roster that Kuminga can slot nicely into. Could be a good fit for both Kuminga and his new team.

I’m willing to give piefed a shot. Either .zip or .ca is probably fine.

Philly has a chance if Embiid can stay healthy, but the guy hasn’t hit 40 games played in any season since he won MVP in '23.

- Comment on THE SAN ANTONIO SPURS HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED FROM CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENTION 4 months ago:
Spurs still have probably the best young core in the league. They could have easily entered this game up 3-1 if not for some silly mistakes at the end of a couple of games.
I’m sure spurs fans are heartbroken, but there is so much to be excited about with that team.

Incredible poise by the Knicks in this series. Down double digits in the first quarter of every game and somehow still found ways to win.

He’s gotta be the front runner at this point. Big plays on both ends of the floor.

I agree. If this is successful in preventing tanking, someone still has to finish at the bottom. I guess it’s a slight relief that they can’t drop below 12, but it still feels a bit like kicking a man when he’s down.
