You didn’t know that when you posed a question to the community that people would answer it?
So you asked the question in bad faith because you just wanted to whinge about Jellyfin, got it.

I’m not saying you don’t think it’s polished, I’m saying that if Jellyfin is where you set the bar for what “polished” means to you, then the rest of the open source world is going to blow your mind.
Jellyfin being a duct taped mess on the other hand isn’t part of any subjective opinion, that’s just the state the software is in.

I mean sure it would seem polished if that’s the one one you’ve ever used and have no point of reference lol

I wouldn’t call it subjective. The issues that it has are all objectively there, whether or not you’re bothered by them is what’s subjective.

Running your own crypto miners doesn’t make sense anymore because the cost of electricity. Running a crypto miner using someone else’s electricity on the other hand…

Because Jellyfin is an ugly, duct taped together mess. It’s very utilitarian at best, when everything is working. Ease of use is just not there for your non-technical friends and family.

Nah it’s more like all the sites and services that used blocked links that you have to add to the whitelist or in some cases be able to turn the protection off and on. It’s a regular occurrence for me

Because you have to mess with it all the time. It’s easier to get in and get out to make changes with the nice interface. It’d be different if it was set it and forget it but realistically it’s not.

The main way is it has a built in recursive DNS server so you don’t have to duct tape Pi Hole and Ubound together

He was trying to reach a particular place in the cave but wasn’t where he thought he was. Both the place he was trying to reach and the place he actually was, are extremely tight squeezes that are literally impossible to turn around in. The difference is, the place he thought he was, has a large cavern on the other end where you can stand up and turn around. Once he realized he wasn’t where he thought he was, his only real option was to move forward and hope it led somewhere with more room. Falling into the hole the way he did was largely an accident in pursuit of that goal.

Nobody who wants a “tighter, tastier” experience is going to like RDR2

It gets a little better in its last 3rd, but only story wise. It is a remarkably bland experience compared to the first game.
