Yeah, I know enough too, but I worry about the sneaky details I don’t know.

So, word of caution. Be careful. I tried using Copilot to open a connection for a single port between two LANs on my network in pfsense, as I didn’t know pfsense. It happily recommended opening 0.0.0.0/0 on the first LAN’s gateway address. It worked!.. By opening everything on the whole network up to anything at all. The problem with AI: you can only use it if you already know enough to catch its horrible screw ups.

I sync my podcasts hourly with Nextcloud and poddersync, so when my servers go down, my phone beeps at me.

I already have an e-ink second screen that sits on the back of an iPhone… 4? 5? It’s collecting dust in a drawer, but I swear this is a recycle of an old project. It’s already been done!
Also, I have an old Yotaphone.

No! You shouldn’t have told me that it could be done! Now, the next time I launch gparted, I’ll somehow manage to wipe everything! Not just my system, but, like, all my systems! If it can be broken on a computer, I’ll be the one to break it!

Everyone is going to tell you to use dd. dd if=/dev/oldsdcard of=/dev/newsdcard
Personally, I have actually eaten an entire system by getting the wrong /dev names for the input file and the output file.
Gparted lets you copy whole partitions and resize them, and is graphical. I have yet to destroy my computer using gparted, but I’ve definitely done so with dd. (I’m also an idiot though, so…)

Godzilla! (Japanese Godzilla. Minus One was like the 30-somethingth movie, and it was fan-frickin’-tastic!)
