  There are a lot of things about the steam deck I respect, including that the only difference in price points is down to available storage, not performance. It really makes the device so much more accessible

  Is this really sidestepping sanctions? My understanding of the sanctions is that they’re less about us not wanting China to use them, and more about us not wanting China to get their hands on the physical cards so they can reverse engineer them/fully own the computation done with them. Overseas rentals seems like the intended direction for them to go, because they can still use the computation power, but don’t have the physical hardware (plus they could lose all access to the datacenters in case of war).

  Most of the time, watch band sizes are given by the width of the strap (i.e 20mm or 22mm). You (or any jeweler) can measure that dimension on the watch face, and then it should be super easy to find a compatible replacement. For the most part, the locking mechanism for attaching the band to the watch is very standardized (spring loaded barrel pin), and while they can be fiddly, generally they are fairly easy to work with.
