- Comment on Giannis ready to get traded before trade deadline 2 days ago:
Yeah I feel like Jimmy deserves a ring after the crazy runs he willed those Miami teams to but looks like he’ll be up there with Barkley for best to never win one :/
- Comment on Giannis ready to get traded before trade deadline 2 days ago:
Only team I’ve seen that has showed real interest (so not Spurs, OKC, rockets, etc.) and has enough to make the bucks pull the trigger now instead of offseason is he warriors.
They can trade butler 1:1 salary wise but if needed include Kuminga and some others if they want Turner too. They also have the draft picks the bucks would want.
Timberwolves, Knicks, etc. don’t have enough to trade right now imo.

Damn hope he can recover for next year.
Haven’t followed the Warriors much this year, does this change their plans for the deadline?

- Comment on Antony Davis to Undergo Hand Surgery; Out Several Months 2 weeks ago:
You’re right I more meant there isn’t a market based on the value the Mavs likely want to get back based on reports.
- Comment on Antony Davis to Undergo Hand Surgery; Out Several Months 2 weeks ago:
Yeah there already wasn’t really a market but now I don’t think anyone is going to bother when they can just wait until the summer

- Comment on State of the NBA Trade Market 2 weeks ago:
I think using the previous trades of 4+ picks for valuation is inaccurate in the current market because way more teams are super conscious about avoiding the salary cap aprons.
Having locked in low salary players on rookie deals is huge for team building so picks are a bit more valuable especially given a lot of teams don’t have their own picks anymore.
I would say the exception to this is for a true tier 1 talent like Giannis since those players are worth the risk of an all in play but someone like Trae or Morant who have clear risks plus their salary impact to the rest of team building makes their trade value lower than in previous CBA agreements.

- Comment on Grizzlies Entertaining Offers for Ja Morant 3 weeks ago:
Doesn’t list any specific teams to save a click but mentions they’re open to keeping him as well.
Feel like a lot of stars are possibly moving either this deadline or this summer.

Glad it’s not more serious but sucks it will likely take him out of the MVP running with the 65 game threshold.

- Comment on Adam Silver Says Decison on Expansion Will Come in 2026 1 month ago:
I think they’re doing it but are just trying to get the most money out of the expansions fees as they can.
I do get you’re splitting revenue but I think adding Las Vegas and Seattle would bring in enough revenue to justify it.
Now after those I’m not sure what other markets could support enough to justify it to the existing owners. Maybe Vancouver? I know Mexico City gets brought up occasionally.
