- Comment on Kawhi to Toronto for Ingram, Dick and 2 first round picks 3 days ago:
With Quick and Jakobe, shooting is less of a concern than the lack of productive size. The most glaring need is rim protection and rebounding. Offensive rebounders feasted on the Raps last year.
- Comment on Kawhi to Toronto for Ingram, Dick and 2 first round picks 4 days ago:
The parallels are kinda crazy. JV wasn’t good enough so they had to go out and get Gasol at the deadline. Same situation this year at center. If they somehow manage an upgrade at point, they’ll be the clear #2 in the conference with a good shot at being favourites.

Sounds like a package built around Ingram and a pick is the offer. I think it’s worth doing as a talent upgrade and not a long term commitment with the extension.
- Comment on Thunder are trading sharpshooter Isaiah Joe to the Detroit Pistons for two future second-round picks 1 week ago:
Couple of possible scenarios:
- Thunder took Joe’s input on where he wanted to go (Detroit vs Toronto is a no-brainer from his perspective)
- Preserve all options if they’re going after Kawhi
- Comment on Reports: Wolves land LaMelo Ball in blockbuster trade with Hornets | NBA.com 1 week ago:
Feels like the Dame to Bucks last gasp type of move before Ant asks out if Melo plays less than 40 games.

This was a really good watch. I have a feeling we’re going to see these type of shops pop up everywhere over the next few years with the rampocalypse forcing everyone to hold on to their hardware for the duration.
- Comment on Some Japanese shops start rationing GPUs — graphics cards with 16GB VRAM and up are becoming harder to find, says one store 5 months ago:
Kinda. The supply issue was solved but they just decided to keep the prices inflated using shady renaming tactics (ie: what should’ve been the 4060 became the 4070) and not enough people cared.

Maybe. I don’t know how to decide right/wrong for prices given how varied value judgments are. It’s not for me but if I spent $$$ for a 5090, I’d be all over this cable in a heartbeat.

Seems inline with prices for this type of cable. Also, it’s probably only useful for people buying $1000+ gpus.
