The threat profile for a desktop is different than a phone.
You carry your phone with you everywhere.
Desktops typically stay in one location that likely has locks.
If you’re truly paranoid, you’ll encrypt your drive regardless. For regular joes like me, it’s not enough for me to enable it and enter a password at boot up.

There is a group of people who have been systematically dismantling education, making access to information harder, and generally known to fuck shit up because they want to punish people who don’t agree with them.

I’ve seen some arbitration agreements stating that you can’t collaborate with other customers who are affected by the same issue, requiring each customer to have a different attorney.
Some companies really want to make it impossible for you to win any significant damages against them.
At that point, they are just telling on themselves.

And because the algae affects everyone, the city should pay for any clean up.

Man I remember playing JC2 and absolutely loving it. The rampant destruction. The ability to fly, drive, just about anything. And guns…lots of guns.
I thought about getting JC3 but didn’t want to buy a new console (I think)…or I just didn’t have the time anymore.
